Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program Overview
Doors open for nurses equipped with a BSN degree. A bachelor’s degree in Nursing allows Registered Nurses (RNs) to advance their careers in a variety of healthcare settings. Eagle Gate College offers a hybrid online BSN program that will prepare students for the NCLEX-RN licensure examination. Students gain invaluable skills, while benefiting from the convenience of completing many of their courses online. Nurses with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree typically receive higher salaries, coveted leadership roles, and a wider variety of jobs. A 2016 study from Nurse Journal found that, of 187,000 nursing jobs posted over a 90-day period, BSN holders were eligible for 88% of those jobs, while RNs with associate’s degrees were only eligible for 51% of them.
